Who we are.
The church is evangelical and Baptist, yet as a people we are very diverse denominationally and in terms of our "church" experience. That is one of the reasons our statement of what we believe represents a broad expression of evangelical doctrine and does not spell out certain finer points of belief or teaching. This is intentional.
Recognizing the denominational diversity represented in our church, we deliberately leave our labels at the door. We come together in a spirit of unity under the authority of Scripture and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, seeking to grow in our relationship with Christ and in love for one another, and focusing on that which we have in common rather than on that which might divide us.
We believe that we exist as a church for three broad reasons: (1) to reflect the grace of God back to Him in Biblically-faithful, Spirit-led, Christ-honoring worship (2) lovingly strengthen and encourage one another in our walk of faith and (3) to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the world.
